Due to dry weather across Punjab, the severity of cold weather has reduced and the duration has also become very short.
Climatic changes in the provincial capital Lahore are showing the effects of spring in the winter season as early as January. The dry season continues throughout the province, including Lahore, due to which the temperature has started to rise.
According to the Department of Meteorology, the duration of the winter season this year was very short. There are no chances of rain for the next two to three days and the weather will remain dry during this time.
In Lahore, the minimum temperature was recorded at 7 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature is expected to reach 24 degrees.
