According to Motorway Police Spokesman Syed Imran Ahmed, sections of Lahore Multan Motorway (M3), Gojra to Multan (M4), and Multan to Zahir Peer (M5) have been closed due to heavy fog.
According to the spokesperson of the Motorway Police, these steps have been taken to ensure the safety and safe travel of the public.
According to the spokesman, violation of lane discipline in fog can lead to accidents, so citizens are advised to prefer travel during day time. 10 am to 6 pm are the best travel times during fog.
Drivers have been instructed to ensure use of fog lights, avoid over speeding and maintain adequate distance from the vehicle in front and avoid unnecessary travel.
