Dyson Award winners: Glaucoma glove and bottle scanner

The third prize went to Joseph Bentley, 22, from Loughborough University, whose fast emergency actuating tamponade (React) gadget – designed to stop blood loss from stab wounds by inflating a silicone balloon into them – had already gained the UK’s James Dyson Award, in August.
