Islamabad:
The Punjab government has issued a notification to close all public and private schools and colleges in Islamabad and Lahore today to show solidarity with the martyred children of Army Public School (APS) Peshawar.
Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Irfan Nawaz Memon has issued a notification according to which all private and government schools and colleges in Islamabad will remain closed on December 16.
Similarly, in the notification issued by Deputy Commissioner Lahore Syed Musa Raza, it was said that on the instructions of the Punjab government, all public and private schools and colleges of Lahore city will remain closed on December 16, but all universities will remain open.
