US President Donald Trump advisor billionaire Alan Musk said on Saturday (22 February) that if all American federal employees are not successful in presenting a detailed account of their work week, then their jobs can go.

On the social media platform ‘X’, Allen Musk said, “According to the President’s instructions, all the federal employees will soon get an email, asking what they did last week? What they did? Not to answer would be considered as resignation.”
Musk, however, has not clearly told what will it be necessary for the employees to do in it and how much is the time limit for this. Musk has been entrusted with the responsibility of helping the US government reduce the expenses and wastage.

Recently, in the latest cuttings declared on Friday (February 21), the US Department of Defense was directed to cut the number of civilian employees by at least five percent from next week. The Trump administration has already started evacuating many other federal employees from their jobs.

Notice was sent to more than 20 lakh employees
In late January, the Trump administration sent a notice to more than 2 million government employees, in lieu of eight months of salary as compensation, they were offered to resign voluntarily. This order was challenged in the court by four unions and 20 Democrat lawyers in the government sector. On February 6, a federal judge banned it from being implemented.
