
WASHINGTON: Leading billionaire businessman Elon Musk has warned US government employees that they will have to give details of the entire week’s performance, otherwise they will be considered to resign.
Elon Musk said in his post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) that federal employees operating under the US Department of Government Performance (DOGE) will receive an email, in response to which they have to explain. How much work has been done throughout the week.
Elon Musk added that if an employee does not respond to the email, he will be considered to resign from the job. Following his statement, there has been a wave of concern among US government agencies, and employees are responding to the decision.
