An encounter broke out between militants and safety forces in Sopore space of Baramulla district in Jammu and Kashmir early Tuesday, police stated.
Security forces launched a cordon and search operation at Pethseer in Sopore space late Monday night time following details about the presence of militants there, a police official stated.
He stated the search operation was an encounter within the early hours of Tuesday because the ultras opened hearth on the safety forces’ positions.
There had been no experiences of any casualties to date on both aspect.
