Governor Punjab Saleem Haider Khan has urged the students to participate in positive activities and said that a political leadership involving the young generation in subversive activities is tantamount to anti-nationalism.
Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan attended the farewell ceremony of Principal Brigadier Mujahid Alam at Lawrence College Ghoda Gali Murree where he said in his address that the youth are the valuable capital of the country.
He said that along with the education of the students, moral and positive character building is also important, it is the responsibility of the teachers to attract the students towards positive activities.
Governor Sardar Saleem Haider said that a political leadership involving the young generation in subversive activities is tantamount to anti-nationalism.
Talking about the college, he said that Lawrence College, Ghoda Gully, is an ancient school, to attract future generations to a strong and stable Pakistan, and the elimination of drug trafficking in educational institutions is the first priority.
He said that due to daily protests, the educational institutions remained closed and the students have suffered a lot.
Governor Punjab said that our young generation has rejected the politics of violence and expects that our youth will play a positive role for the future of the country.
