Commissioner Karachi imposed Section 144 and banned the establishment of illegal cattle markets in the city for a month while cattle markets have been allowed at 14 places in the city.

According to a notification issued by the Commissioner House, Commissioner Karachi Syed Hassan Naqvi has issued orders that the city is banned under section 144 for selling illegal cattle markets and roadside animals.

He said that if anyone violates, the law will come into force and action will be taken according to the law. In addition to the permitted cattle markets, the sale of animals will be banned.

The district administration of Karachi has allowed the setting up of cattle markets in 14 places in seven districts and made it clear that action will be taken against illegal cattle markets.

Commissioner Karachi has also directed the cattle market administration to complete parking, sanitation and security arrangements.
