Even outside the field continues to shout at PSL

Karachi:

Outside the field, the PSL is underway, Multan Sultans has made it clear that if the fees are increased, they will go towards re -bodding.

Board sources say that under the contract, the franchise fee is not possible for any reason, the increase after the valuation is sure to increase, if the Sultans leave the team, there will be recruitment. On the other hand, controversial statements are being surprised by the PCB for not taking any action against Ali Tareen.

According to the details, the board contract with the franchisees with HBLPSL 10 will be terminated, after the PCB valuation, the current teams will give the right to remain intact, though the fee may increase by 25 % or more.

The league’s most expensive franchise Multan Sultans pays about Rs. 1.8 billion annually while other expenses are different, it has to suffer huge loss every year, which is why before this edition, Owner Ali Tareen started to connect the model.

Talking to the media in Multan in the past, he made it clear that if the fee was increased, he would go towards re -bodging.

In this regard, board sources said that a few months ago, when we asked the franchises whether they wanted to keep the teams, everyone, including the Multan Sultans, expressed their willingness, then suddenly Ali’s tough statements began to come out, which is surprising to all, now that the board looks like a big deal.

Sources said that under the contract, the franchise fee is not possible for any reason, the increase after the valuation is sure to increase, if the Sultans leave the team, it is not clear whether the current Owner will be able to participate in it.

On the other hand, some constituencies are also surprised that the PCB did not take any action against Ali Tareen on controversial statements.

Sources say that after the valuation, the Sultans fees can be up to Rs 1.5 billion annually, thus there will be a lot of pressure on PSL officials to sell 2 new teams for more than Rs 2,2 billion. Given the current situation in the market, it is very difficult to do so, so if the Sultan’s fees are reduced, it will be reduced.

However, board sources rejected the impression, “Why will we reduce the value of our league?” If anyone is dreaming of buying a cheap franchise, he will face frustration, many parties abroad, including Pakistan, are ready to join the PSL.
