Acceptance of visitors’ beliefs and prayers

Lahore resident Farzana Ahmed, along with his granddaughter, paid nawafal at the mosque and prayed that his granddaughter would have a good relationship and he would succeed in his education. The foundation of the pearl mosque was laid in 1599 during the Mughal king Akbar, and its initial construction was expanded in the reign of King Jahangir. Later, Shahjahan adorned the mosque with a white marble, causing it to be named “Moti Masjid”.
