Fazl urges establishments to remain inside their constitutional limits


Reiterating his earlier stance, the top of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Amir, Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Wednesday urged the state establishments to “stay within their constitutional limits”.

“Questions are also being raised on our judiciary. We (civilians) have to run this country and its institutions,” Fazl stated, whereas addressing a public gathering held at Quetta’s Hockey Chowk floor.

“A bill is being formulated to bring SBP (State Bank of Pakistan) directly under IMF,” he stated, referring to the Elections (Amendment) Bill, 2021 — granting voting rights to abroad Pakistanis and the usage of digital voting machines – which the federal government managed to go in a joint sitting or parliament earlier within the day.

JUI-F chief stated that he did not care in regards to the legal guidelines concerning electoral reforms. “Only a fraudulent government can talk about such reforms,” he added.

He stated that as an alternative of fulfilling the promise of giving 5 million homes and 10 million jobs, the PTI authorities was demolishing many properties. “We will not disappoint the nation. The country should have a constitutional and democratic rule,” he asserted.

Fazl additional stated that the battle towards the federal government will proceed.

Speaking on the event, Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) chief Mehmood Khan Achakzai stated that Pakistan was sinking as a result of our personal errors as we failed to determine a very individuals’s authorities within the nation.

“We fought for this country because we consider Pakistan as our motherland,” he added. “You could be jailed for talking about the constitution in this country.”

He stated {that a} spherical desk convention must be convened for supremacy of the structure. “We are out [on the streets] to save this country,” Mehmood stated, including that the nation was caught enjoying a “dangerous game”.

President National Party Dr Abdul Malik Baloch stated that the nation will stay backward until the supremacy of the structure and parliament.

“For the first time in history, people are selling their children due to high prices,” stated Baloch, including that PDM motion was geared toward supremacy of individuals and democracy.

Criticising the federal government’s negotiations with IMF, he stated that what would occur when the worldwide monetary establishments stopped giving loans to Pakistan someday.

He maintained that the PDM won’t ever settle for the digital voting system.
