Analyst Faisal Hussain has said that a precedent has been changed by the case of General Faiz, let’s see what happens in the future, there are two sides to it, one is Top City and the other is May 9.
While speaking in Express News’ program Experts, he said that Top City has done a very ruthless thing, this is a case of corruption, as far as the incident of May 9 is concerned, the relationship between Imran Khan and General Faiz is not hidden from anyone.
Analyst Aamir Ilyas Rana said that the case was stopped because the GHQ did not allow the recording of General Aslam Baig’s statement, which led to the FIA investigation. It ended and coincidentally today it was re-instated in the Supreme Court.
On receipt of the complaint, the Top City case was initiated in the Supreme Court, from where it was forwarded by the Ministry of Defense to the GHQ to look into the allegation against its officer.
Analyst Naveed Hussain said, “There is no doubt that Pakistan’s history has never seen such a case of detaining a former ISI chief and starting his court-martial. And it is a welcome move.
Analyst Shakeel Anjum said that the government brought in by Imran Khan in 2018 was a hybrid model and the government was run under it. Then it will be seen how to take it further, in this hybrid model you see that there was neither a law nor a constitution.
Analyst Muhammad Ilyas said that the charge sheet that has come out against General Faiz Hameed is only regarding Top City, this is a very scary case that shows his interference in political affairs and political influence. Turns out, these were the masterminds in every case, when the May 9 investigation begins, more people will come forward.
