Germany rejects France’s name to halt development on Nord Stream 2 pipeline over Navalny detention


Germany stated it plans to finish the Russian-led Nord Stream 2 offshore gasoline pipeline venture regardless of opposition from France over Moscow’s jailing of opposition determine Alexey Navalny.

The stance of the German authorities “has not changed” in current days, deputy authorities spokeswoman Martina Fietz stated on Monday in Berlin, after France’s secretary of state for Europe Clément Beaune requested Germany to halt the venture.
