Govinda made us wait for 3 days on the set
Now recently, producer Vasu Bhagnani has shared an incident during the shooting of Govinda’s film Hero Number One. Vasu Bhagnani told in a podcast, ‘We were 75 people in Switzerland for the shooting of Hero Number One. Govinda did not come for shooting for 3 days. Then I called Govinda that if you don’t want to come, we will come back. So there was some resentment so he said I am coming.
70 percent song shot in one day
Vasu further said, ‘He landed at 6 in the morning. I was the one who went to pick him up at the airport. Sitting in the van, he should not talk to me and I should not talk to him. Then he tells me that I can get a shaving kit. I told him where to get a shaving kit at 6 in the morning. I again took him to the petrol pump. Where a blade is available for one or two rupees, I would have got it for one euro. Then he shaved right there. At 7.30 he did the first shot and that is the number one song till date. Even today that song is playing. So this is creativity. Govinda had completed 70 percent of the song in one day. Even if he did not come for 3 days, our schedule was finished on time.
