At the same time, these earthquakes have also affected the volcano of Centorini. This incident on the island for the last two weeks has reminded people of the horrific earthquake of 1956.

Earthquake occurred 1300 times a day

The earthquake in Centralini began on 26 January (Sunday). Since then, earthquake tremors are being felt continuously on this beautiful island. In this, the maximum number of earthquake tremors were felt on Tuesday (February 4). In which the intensity of some on the Richter scale was measured from 4.9 to 5.0. People are under the shadow of fear due to such a large number of earthquakes.

At the same time, Greece Prime Minister Kiriyakos Mitsotakis has taken stock of the situation in Centorini. He said, “The government is keeping an eye on the situation, people should maintain peace.”

Stir in volcano due to earthquake

Due to the earthquake on the island of Santorini, it has now been seen to be stirred up in the volcano of Santorini.
