Hailey Bieber appeared to send a veiled message on Instagram shortly after Scooter Braun praised Justin Bieber’s new album Swag.
On Saturday, she posted a selfie with exaggerated facial features and added Mariah Carey’s “Obsessed”, leading fans to believe that she was mocking or making subtle jabs at her husband’s former manager.

The timing raised eyebrows, as the post followed Braun’s Instagram Story where he described Swag as “beautiful, raw, and truly him.” He continued, “There comes a time when an artist fully steps into their own — and that’s what he’s done here,” adding, “I’ve played no role in this one, but as someone who’s always believed in him, I’m incredibly proud.”

While Braun framed his message as supportive, Hailey’s light-hearted yet pointed post was interpreted by many as a dig. The song choice and exaggerated expression seemed anything but coincidental.
The post also came just days after Justin and Braun reportedly settled a financial dispute, with the pop star agreeing to pay Braun $26 million plus additional commissions. According to reports, Braun’s company Hybe helped Justin cover debt from a cancelled 2022 tour.
Justin’s seventh studio album Swag dropped Friday via Def Jam Recordings, but the online response also reignited public interest in his strained ties with Braun.
