Israel Hamas War: Hamas has released a video of an Israeli hostage, in which the hostage has appealed for a ceasefire in Gaza in exchange for his release. ‘The Israeli government ignored us’

His mother, Inav Jangauker, is one of the leading activists in the struggle for the hostages’ release, including pressuring the Israeli government to pursue a deal with Hamas.
‘Time is running out’
Hamas has posted this video on Telegram with the caption “Time is running out.” Einav Zangaukar addressed Netanyahu at a demonstration in Tel Aviv after the video was released, saying, “The fact that Matan is alive today does not mean that he will survive the cold or continued military pressure. Matan and all The only way to bring it back is a deal, even if it comes at the cost of ending the war.”
Appeal to counter Israeli operation
On Saturday (December 7), Hamas said in a statement that ending the war and Israeli aggression is the core of any agreement in Gaza. This statement was issued after a meeting in Doha between Hamas Shura Council Chairman Mohammad Darwish and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
He said Hamas is open to mediation proposals, provided they prioritize the interests of the Palestinian people and work to alleviate their suffering. Along with this, he appealed to counter the Israeli operation of killings, blockade and starvation in favor of the residents of Gaza.
