Karachi:
The English Cricket Board has appointed Harry Brook as the new captain of England’s ODIs and T20 teams.
According to the English Cricket Board, Yorkshire -based batter Harry Brooke has been appointed as the new Whiteball captain of England instead of Jose Butler.
Remember that England did not win a single match in the Champions Trophy 2025, Jose Butler resigned from the captaincy on the worst performance of the team.
Harry Brook expressed his happiness over being the captain, saying that it was a great honor for me to be the captain of the Whiteball team in England.
“I am grateful to my family and coaches who have always supported me,” he said. Without their conviction and support, I could not reach this place today.
It should be noted that Harry Brook debuted for England in January 2022 and has represented the country in 26 ODIs and 44 T20 matches so far, in which he scored 1614 runs, including a century and 9 half centuries.
