In Nazimabad No. 4, a large number of theft occurred in the house, in which the construction workers on Wednesday looted gold jewelry worth Rs 1.5 crore.
Later, after a few hours of investigation, the police arrested the suspects in the raid and recovered the gold jewelry and arrested five workers, including the main accused involved in the incident.
SHO Nazimabad Inspector Amjad Kayani said the suspects stole 45 towels of gold jewelry on the ground while working in the house of Aidullah’s house No. 4D/36 and fled after completing his work at 7 pm.
When the family checked during the cleaning, the gold jewelry was missing, which immediately reported the helper 15.
Police of Nazimabad police station arrived at the scene and after a thorough investigation, raided a camp in Nazimabad No. 4 and arrested five suspects and recovered gold jewelry stolen from a suspect’s box.
The arrested suspects include Hamad Waleed Khaasta Khan, Idrees Waleed Jan Mohammad, Waheedullah Waleed Hameed Khan Naeemullah Waleed Fazal -ur -Rehman and his brother Yasin. The four suspects said that Waheedullah had stolen the jewelry, which did not tell any other laborer. He said he came to the police station about theft.
The arrested accused Waheedullah said he did not know that they were gold jewelry, but he confirmed the theft and said that he did not steal any other laborer placed theft in his ark.
According to police, the five workers are from the same area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Police have registered a case against the accused and have started an investigation and their criminal record is also being checked.
