After the Pahalgam area of occupied Kashmir, the closure of Pakistani airspace for Indian flights continues and Indian flights are facing severe difficulties and losses, which have also been revealed.
According to Express News, 10 days have passed since the closure of Pakistani airspace for Indian flights and 1150 Indian flights have been affected and Indian airlines have suffered more than 225 million rupees in the last 10 days.
The closure of airspace has affected flights from Ayrlandia, Akasa Air, Spice Jet, Indigo Air, Airlandia Express as Indian planes have to travel from India to the Arabian Sea.
According to reports, financial losses have been screaming due to double the fuel and other operational costs over the long routes of Indian airlines, and most Air India has been shocked.
Indigo Air is also facing huge losses due to the closure of Pakistan’s airspace, flight operations for other Central Asian countries, including Al -Tashkent, are closed.
Similarly, all Indian airlines from other cities including Amritsar, Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Bangalore are facing loss of crores of rupees a day.
The flight crews to the United States are being transformed into Europe, with landing and refueling, Indian airlines are also suffering from loss of millions a day in terms of airport charges.
According to sources, Indian passengers are starting to prefer flights from other countries instead of Indian airlines, and the US flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Amritsar Ahmed to the UK European flights exceeds 10 hours.
Indian passengers are also having difficulty receiving refunds when flights from Indian airlines are canceled.
It is to be noted that Pakistan has initially decided to close its airspace for Indian aircraft for a month from April 23 to May 23.
Sources said that the closure of Pakistan’s airspace in 2019 was a shock to Indian airlines for Rs 700 million.
