Bollywood legend Dharmendra passed away on Monday at the age of 89 but left behind a fortune worth billions of rupees.
According to Indian media, Dharmendra’s net worth, including his personal earnings, investments, properties and business assets, is estimated to be between Rs 335 crore and Rs 450 crore.
Dharmendra amassed considerable wealth not only from acting but also from various business ventures in his film career spanning six decades.
The bulk of his income came from films, brand endorsements, studio shares and real estate properties. He was considered one of the most successful personalities in the film industry due to his financial discipline and wise investments.

According to reports, the Deol family owns more than Rs 1,000 crore in total, which includes the assets of Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and other family members. This is the reason why the Deol family is seen at the top of the list of powerful and influential families in the Indian film industry.
After Dharmendra’s death, the assets left by him are likely to be legally divided between the two families, Prakash Kaur and Hemamalini’s children.
It should be noted that Dharmendra married Prakash Kaur for the first time in 1954 at the age of 19. From this marriage, he has four children Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Vijita Deol and Ajita Deol.
Dharmendra’s second marriage was in 1980 to actress Hema Malani, with whom he did several superhit films.
