Hunter Biden Rent Scandal: After being pardoned on charges of tax and weapons related crimes, Hunter Biden, son of America’s acting President Joe Biden, has now also been accused of rent arrears worth millions of dollars. US President Joe Biden granted a “full and unconditional pardon” for potential federal crimes committed by Hunter Biden between January 1, 2024, and December 1, 2024.
Sequoia Venture Capital firm partner Sean Maguire alleged on social media that Hunter Biden has not paid his family’s rent of more than three lakh dollars. Maguire tweeted, “So did Hunter Biden get his $300K+ back rent forgiven too? Thanks, Joe.”
Lock changed in the house despite not paying rent
Maguire said that Hunter Biden did not pay the rent for his house in Venice, California between 2019 and 2020. He claimed that Hunter changed the locks and used the security service to prevent the landlord from entering the house. On the question of a user attempting eviction on social media, Maguire said that he did not do so because he was afraid of clashing with the Biden family. The case is reminiscent of an earlier dispute when Hunter was also accused of owing $80,000 in back rent to Sweetgreen CEO Jonathan Newman.
So what happens to the $300k+ in back pay rent that Hunter Biden owes my family from 2019-2020?
Is that pardoned now?
Thanks Joe

Elon Musk’s response
Fox News reported that presidential pardons are only for federal crimes, so Hunter Biden would not have any legal protection in rental cases. Elon Musk also reacted to this and said, “Truth is more fun than fiction.”
