
Hyderabad:
Eleven people, including a child and four women, were injured in several incidents of aerial firing on the occasion of the beginning of the New Year.
The injured were immediately shifted to Civil Hospital, where their condition is said to be out of danger.
According to hospital sources, the condition of the injured is improving, and all the victims were hit by bullets coming from different directions.
Among the injured are 9-year-old Abdul Hadi, 20-year-old Zeeshan, 40-year-old Mehreen Azim, 14-year-old Saifullah, 60-year-old Gulshan Bano, 17-year-old Anas Qureshi, 12-year-old Aruma, 25-year-old Rabia Yasin, 24-year-old Arshad Hussain, 19-year-old Faizan Ali and 47 Azam Khan is included.
Hospital sources further said that the injured were given immediate medical attention and their condition is now out of danger.
The police authorities have started an investigation into the incident and the culprits of the aerial firing are being sought.
