Islamabad:
Significant progress has been made with the help of SIFC to overcome Pakistan’s energy crisis.
The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has begun oil production in the Rajan-11 Heavy Oil Well in Chakwal district, which will be an important step in meeting the country’s energy needs.
Rajian-11 Heavy Oil Well was halted from 2020, but with the help of SIFC, the modern artificial elevator system was introduced, which re-enabled the Wales.
Through this modern system, resources were exposed to 3,774 meters deep, which is being described as a major achievement of OGDCL.
OGDCL is expected to produce 1,000 barrels of oil daily from the newly discovered wells, which will not only increase hydrocarbon production but also further stabilize the OGDCL.
