In the UK there has been a strange event of a child’s “twice born”.

Lucy Isk, a 20 -week -long Oxford teacher, conducted a five -hour operation to remove the mother’s cancer, during which surgeons temporarily removed her mercy, which her son had.

After the cancer treatment, the baby was kept back in the uterus and was born properly after completing 9 months.

Lucy and Refresh recently visited John Radcliff Hospital after a week of surgery to thank Surgeon Sulaimani Majid. He described this experience as rare and emotional.

It is noteworthy that when the 32 -year -old Lucy was 12 weeks pregnant, she was diagnosed with cancer after a routine ultrasound. Doctors at John Radcliffe Hospital believed that delays in treatment by birth could spread cancer, which could endanger the life of the woman.

Due to a period of about 5 months of pregnancy, standard hole surgery was not possible so that doctors had to find alternative options.

Subsequently, a team led by Dr. Sulaimani Majid suggested a rare and complex method for removing cancer cells while keeping a non -congenital child in the surgery. This high risk operation has been carried out only a few times globally, in which the woman’s uterus was temporarily removed.

Despite the dangers, the woman and her husband Adam relied on the medical team and the operation was successful.
