Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal has said that PTI’s style of politics is not democratic, it is to spread chaos.
Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal while addressing the 2-day “International Conference on Green Productivity 2.0” conference in Limz said that PTI’s style of politics is not democratic, it is to spread chaos. India and PTI are on the same page against national integrity.
Regarding the Pakistani youth, he said that the young generation has to play an active role in environment-friendly development to avoid climate threats, the aim of Green Productivity 2.0 vision is not only to make the Pakistani industry environment-friendly but also to make it competitive in the global market.
He said that the government is taking concrete measures to complete the green projects. This country is our home, if it is not our country, then it is not our politics. Disagreement is the beauty of democracy and country politics is like a family, just as each person in a family has his own opinion and thoughts, so all political parties also have the right to disagree.
He said that Muslim League-N and People’s Party faced very severe martial law, but we faced more repression than both martial laws during the founding PTI period, we went to jails in false cases, restrictions were imposed on the media, despite all this, we fought this political war within the boundaries of the state, till date no party has gone abroad and made propaganda against Pakistan and made Pakistan stand before the international courts.
Ahsan Iqbal said that whenever Pakistan tries to have good relations with the international community, it hurts PTI and India.
The federal minister also pointed to the losses caused by floods, earthquakes and other natural disasters in Pakistan in the past and said that the catastrophic floods in 2022 caused a loss of 30 billion dollars to the country’s economy. Under Udaan Pakistan and Vision 2030, innovative priorities have been incorporated in every sector.
The purpose of the conference was to strengthen regional cooperation regarding the reduction of carbon emissions in the industrial sector, the role of green hydrogen, the promotion of sustainable resource use in Asia, the responsibilities of financial institutions for sustainable development and the implementation of environmental, social and governance frameworks to increase industrial production, competitiveness and exports, to promote knowledge exchange and to highlight new opportunities for low carbon and sustainable industrial development.
Other speakers also addressed the conference. In the end, souvenirs were among the participants while Dr. Fayaz Chaudhry, Senior Advisor of Limz Energy Institute, presented the shield to the Federal Minister.
