Lachin: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that water is a lifeline of our 24 million people. India wants to stop the water of Pakistan which will never happen, Pakistan is fortunate that we have friends like Turkey and Azerbaijan.
He said this while addressing a Turkish, Pakistan and Azerbaijan trilateral conference in Lachin, Azerbaijan. Turkish President Tayyip Erdo ۔an and Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev also addressed the occasion.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that President Azerbaijan is grateful for hosting the conference, the three countries are connected in common religion, values and culture and all three support each other on basic issues. It is fortunate that Pakistan has friends like Turkey and Azerbaijan.
He said that India took the path of aggression under the guise of the Pahalgam incident while Pakistan offered a thorough investigation into the incident, India did not provide any evidence of the incident and blamed Pakistan without evidence.
The Prime Minister said that India wants to stop the water of Pakistan which will never happen, water is the lifeline of our 24 million people. We want the Kashmir solution in accordance with the UN Security Council resolutions.
Pak -India tensions were disturbing to us, President Azerbaijan
Addressing the trilateral conference, President Azerbaijan said that Pakistan, Turkey and Azerbaijan are tied up in common history and culture. Turkey and Pakistan helped us in the war in 2020, there are widespread potential for cooperation between the three countries in the defense sector.
“We are reviewing the $ 2 billion investment projects, promoting partnerships in various sectors, including defense with Pakistan and Turkey. The three countries are moving together to achieve common goals, there are widespread cooperation between the three countries in the defense sector,” he said.
He said that tensions between Pakistan and India were disturbing to us. In the recent Pak -India tension, Azerbaijan strongly supported Pakistan, the conflict should be resolved peacefully.

Turkish President Tayyip Erdo ۔an said that Turkey stands with Azerbaijan at every good and bad time, today I congratulate the people of Azerbaijan on Independence Day.
He said that Turkish, Azerbaijan and Pakistan are three countries and one nation, will strengthen friendship with Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan was strengthened by the independence of Karbakh, Turkey will stand with Azerbaijan at every good and bad time.
Earlier, addressing the trilateral conference, he said that solidarity between Turkey, Pakistan and Azerbaijan is very important for the region.
