Famous South Indian actors Vijay Barakonda and Prakash Raj have recently responded to the allegations leveled against them for promoting illegal stipend platforms.
According to Indian media, the two actors have issued statements and provided clarification after legal complaints against several celebrities, including themselves.
Vijay’s team issued a statement stating that the actor’s contract with a gaming company was limited to the verification of the skill -based games in the jurisdiction where such activities are legally allowed.
The statement said, “It is meant to inform the public and all concerned parties that Vijay Dardokonda has formally contracted with a company that aims to serve as a brand ambassador of the Skill Games (Skill Games).”
The statement added that ‘it is important to make it clear that skill -based games (Skill Games), including online games, have been recognized by the Honorable Supreme Court of India several times from gambling or gaming.
According to the statement, Vijay’s legal team well reviewed all possible partnerships before finalizing any agreement. Only after that the South Indian star worked for the Gaming Platform A23, ensuring that it was a legally recognized game.
