Indian media lies on hit Pakistani plane, Indian journalist reveals

NEW DELHI / WASHINGTON: An Indian journalist has acknowledged that the news of the recent Pak-India tension was false, while the Indian government cracked down against the truth-speaking.

Indian journalist Raj Deep Sardesai acknowledged that the claim against Pakistan was wrong and the government targeted people and journalists who wanted to bring the truth to hide their failure.

The revelation came out in an American newspaper report that Indian media had broadcast videos of the blasts in Gaza as an attack on Pakistan.

According to the US report, the Indian media became a state propaganda machine in the meantime, which presented the news without any confirmation or evidence and made claims of calling itself a democratic institution.

Moreover, the Indian government blocked more than 8,000 social media accounts in India through legal measures, the majority of which were Pakistani consumers.
