Indian passengers stranded Kuwait Airport gulf air flight technical glitch

Gulf Air Flight Technical Glitch: ‘Gulf Air’ flight going from Bahrain to Manchester had to be diverted towards Kuwait airport due to technical fault. Many people, including Indian passengers, were traveling in this flight who had to stay at Kuwait Airport for more than 20 hours. According to the information, the flight took off from Bahrain at 2:05 pm on December 1, but due to some technical glitch it had to land in Kuwait at 4:01 am.

The Indian Embassy showed readiness to help the stranded passengers. The embassy shared information on social media platform ‘X’ that their team immediately reached the airport and in coordination with ‘Gulf Air’ officials, necessary arrangements were made for the passengers. The passengers were accommodated in two guest houses at Kuwait Airport where adequate arrangements for food and water were made for the passengers.

Travel resumes at 4:34 am

On Monday i.e. today at 4:34 am the ‘Gulf Air’ plane left for Manchester. The Indian Embassy team remained present there throughout the night to assist the passengers. However, some passengers alleged on social media that they were not given any help initially due to which they had to face inconvenience.

Passenger complaints and experiences

After this, some passengers shared their experiences on social media and alleged that Indian passengers were left without any help. However, the embassy clarified that its team made every possible effort to handle the situation and ensure assistance to the passengers. In such a situation, this incident raises questions on the responsibility of planes and airlines regarding flight safety and passenger convenience.
