Ipl; Jasprit Bumrah broke the former Sri Lankan player’s record

Karachi:

Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah broke the record of former Sri Lankan pacer Lyster Malinga, he became the bowler to make more wickets by the Mumbai Indians in the IPL.

Bumrah took 171 wickets in 139 IPL matches so far, while Malinga had earlier won the most successful bowler with 170 hunting in 122 matches for the Mumbai Indians.

Jasprit Bumrah made this feat against Lucknow Super Giants on Sunday.

Apart from this, Harbhajan Singh (127), Mitchell McClin (71), Kieron Pollard (69), Hardik Pandya (65) and Karnal Pandya (51) are on the list with hunting.

Sunil Narine, who represented Kolkata in the league, is number one with 187 wickets, while Bumrah is now second.
