The death toll from a powerful explosion at the Iranian port has increased to 25, while more than 750 people were injured in a horrific blast yesterday.
According to the World News Agency, the horrific explosion took place at an office connected to the martyrdom port of Bandar Abbas, southern Iran.
After the explosion, a fire broke out in a portion of the port. Fire brigade vehicles and ambulances can be seen on the scene.
According to reports, the number of injured in the blast was more than 750.
Initially 4 deaths were confirmed, which has now increased to 25, but the casualties are expected to increase.
The magnitude of the blast was so high that glasses of buildings were broken several kilometers away and earthquakes were felt in several areas.
Police said the reasons for the blast were not yet known. Investigations are underway in this regard.
