Iranian forces rescue Indian ship

Iranian marine forces rescued the crew of an Indian ship immediately.

The vessel was carrying sugar to the Omani port metropolis of Sohar. It encountered a storm and suffered from technical difficulties in addition to a fracture in its construction and partially sank within the Gulf of Oman off the coast of the Iranian metropolis of Jask. The crew are in good situation, the official Islamic Republic News Agency reported.

The ship monitoring web site MarineTraffic confirmed a mixture of tug, fishing and passenger ships in Jask immediately.

The Persian Gulf area has skilled heavy rainfall lately. A rainstorm induced flooding in Oman in yesterday.
