Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has reacted to rumors of removing Imran Khan’s name from the enclosure of Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.


Social media platforms were speculating that Pakistan was removed from the stand of Gaddafi Stadium, named after the World Cup captain Imran Khan, who was the World Cup in 1992.

However, sources in the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have denied removing Imran Khan’s name from the stand.

Sources say that no name has been changed or named on the enclosures, news is being spread on social media, all the enclosures will remain.

Imran Khan Inclosure has been one of the VIP stands of Gaddafi Stadium since 1992.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has recently completed the renovation of the stadium due to hosting the Champions Trophy event.
