Attack on Hindu Temple in Bangladesh: In Bangladesh, fundamentalists continue to attack Hindus and Hindu temples. There is news of targeting of another Hindu temple in Dhaka on Friday night (6 December 2024). According to local media reports, fundamentalists attacked ISKCON Namhatta temple Dhaka on Friday night.

It is being told that first the temple was vandalized, after which the mob set the idols of the gods on fire. ISKCON was managing this temple located in Bangladesh. After this attack, Hindu organizations have once again alleged that fundamentalists are continuously targeting minority Hindus and Muhammad Yunus remains a mute spectator.

Vice President of Kolkata ISKCON confirmed

Kolkata ISKCON Vice President Radharaman Das has also confirmed this incident. “The tin roof of the temple was removed and petrol was poured on the idols before they were burnt,” he wrote on social media platform And Hindu opposition is being suppressed through the recent arrest of their associates, attempts to ban the Hindu organization ISKCON and sedition cases.

Attacks increased after the arrest of Chinmoy Krishna Das

Let us tell you that the cases of attacks on Hindus had increased since the overthrow of Sheikh Hasina, but it has increased further after the arrest of Chinmoy Krishna Das, associated with Samishta Sanatani Jagran Jot, in Dhaka on November 25 on charges of treason. Fundamentalists are continuously targeting Hindu temples. Chinmoy Das was arrested on October 31 following a complaint by a local politician, who accused Chinmoy Das and others of insulting the national flag of Bangladesh during a rally of the Hindu community.
