Islamabad, Accused who viralized objectionable photos and videos of woman arrested

Islamabad:

The National Cyber ​​Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) arrested the accused who blackmailed a woman by viralizing objectionable pictures and videos on social media.

According to the NCCIA, the accused involved in harassment and blackmailing on social media has been arrested, against whom a complaint was lodged on behalf of citizen Shahid Shafiq Khan.

Regarding the action, it was informed that the accused Waqas Ahmed made objectionable photos and videos of the woman viral through Facebook.

NCCIA said that the accused has been arrested from Islamabad and after inquiry, a case has been registered against the accused under section 21 and 24 of PECA Act.

NCCIA said that sub-inspector Misbah Batul has been appointed as the investigating officer for the case while the accused will be produced in court on November 22 for remand.
