Islamabad:
The Islamabad High Court has suspended the single bench decision to invalidate the appointment of Chairman Pakistan Agriculture Research Council.
The Division Bench of Islamabad High Court suspended the decision of single bench Justice Babar Sattar and reinstated Chairman PARC Dr. Ghulam Muhammad Ali.
A bench consisting of Chief Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Raja Inam Amin Minhas issued notices to the parties.
It should be noted that an intra-court appeal was filed against the decision of the single bench by the deposed Dr. Ghulam Muhammad Ali.

In the intra-court appeal, it was held that the judgment of the single bench was illegal and unconstitutional. Dr. Ghulam Ali has requested to suspend the decision of the single bench in the intra-court appeal and reinstate him.
Single Bench Justice Babar Sattar had declared the Office Memorandum of March 15, 2024 null and void while directing the Chairman PARC to vacate the charge.
The single bench had directed to appoint a new Chairman PARC after fulfilling the legal requirements.
