Defending champions Islamabad United won the toss and opted to bowl first against two-time champions Lahore Qalandars in the opening match of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Friday.
Islamabad United’s captain Shadab Khan made the decision to ask Qalandars to bat first. In their 19 previous encounters in HBL PSL history, Islamabad United has won 10 matches, while Lahore Qalandars has secured 9 victories.
