
Israel Hamas ceasefire: Israel and Hamas have reached a ceasefire and hostage agreement after months of intense diplomatic efforts. This agreement, brokered by the US, Egypt and Qatar, will stop the ongoing violence in Gaza, provide vital humanitarian assistance to Palestinian citizens and give the hostages held for more than 15 months a chance to return to their families. However, meanwhile the AFP report says that Hamas is once again refusing to accept some conditions. The report quoting Israel has claimed that Hamas is reneging on some parts of the agreement. On this, the Israeli cabinet said that it will not approve the agreement until the countries conducting mediation show that Hamas has fully accepted the deal.
Earlier, after several rounds of talks, a ceasefire agreement was signed, in which America, Egypt and Qatar acted as mediators. This conversation took place in Doha, the capital of Qatar. Some important rules have been decided under the agreement, which will soon be made public in Cairo.
Main points of ceasefire
Many important things have been included under the ceasefire deal. Which is as follows.
Release of hostages: Hamas will release 34 hostages in 42 days, with women and children being given priority. In return, Israel will release 1,000 Palestinian prisoners.
Withdrawal to Gaza: Israel will allow the return of people to northern Gaza and will withdraw its troops from the Gaza Strip in a phased manner.
Agreement in three stages
The first phase involves the release of hostages and withdrawal of Israeli troops.
In the second phase, Hamas will release all the hostages and Israel will completely withdraw troops from Gaza.
The third phase will focus on reconstruction projects in the Gaza Strip.

This agreement was possible with the mediation of America, Qatar and Egypt. It will be the responsibility of these countries to implement this ceasefire deal and ensure that both the parties take steps as per the agreement.
