DAMASCUS,:
Israel has bombed three of Syria’s main air bases, including the Qamishli, Shanshar base, and Aqaba air bases.
According to Arab media, the attacks were carried out in different areas of Syria, including Homs and southwestern parts of Damascus.
Sources say that there were dozens of helicopters and warplanes at these air bases, which were targeted in the attack.
In addition, several attacks have been carried out on a research center and an electronic warfare center in Damascus.
According to Arab media, Israel has also occupied a buffer zone along the Golan Heights, which is expected to further escalate tensions in the region.
The situation in the region has become tense after these attacks, while there was no statement of an immediate response from Syria.
According to experts, the aim of these attacks may be to weaken Syria’s defense system and damage strategic assets. The ongoing conflict in the region has already raised international concerns.
