Israel-Syria Conflict: According to Russian news agency Sputnik, the Israeli army has captured most of the strategic hills and military posts in Syria’s Quneitra province. Israel began a military operation immediately after the rebels captured Damascus on December 8. The Israeli army crossed the Alpha Line on the border, entered the buffer zone and took it under control. After this, Israel carried out continuous air strikes in Syria.
According to Sputnik report, the Israeli army has established control over about 95 percent of the province. Lebanese media outlet Al-Mayadeen claimed that Israeli forces have captured approximately 440 square kilometers of Syria. However, the Israeli Army has not yet made any official comment regarding the capture of Quneitra.

What is the plan regarding Golan Heights?
Benjamin Netanyahu has approved a plan to double the settlements in the Golan Heights. Its purpose is to increase the Israeli population. For this, Netanyahu has passed a budget of 4 crore shekels (about Rs 95 crore). Muslim countries have reacted sharply to this. On this, the Foreign Ministry of Saudi Arabia has condemned this decision of Israel. Saudi Arabia has declared the decision illegal.
