Israeli Defense Ministry gave information
According to the Israeli Defense Ministry, two strategic agreements have been signed with Ilbit Systems, under which thousands of air-dropped bombs will be manufactured. At the same time, a national facility center will also be built for making raw materials.
The purpose of this step of Israel is to achieve self-reliance in weapons manufacturing and reduce dependence on foreign imports. According to Israeli media, the Biden administration had delayed the supply of heavy weapons during the Gaza war and Biden was unhappy with the policies of the Netanyahu government.
Israel wants to increase its weapons production
Apart from the delay in arms supply from America during the war, Israel also faced difficulty in obtaining raw materials from foreign sources. For this reason Israel now wants to increase its weapons production. At the same time, the National Facility Center that Israel is going to build will help Israel in making bombs.
