The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that the cease-fire in Gaza will come into force at 8:30 am local time on Sunday. The ceasefire will start at 6:30 am GMT.
In the 470 days of the war, the Israeli army has killed 46899 Palestinians by committing the worst massacre in history. In addition to this number recorded in the Ministry of Health, thousands of other dead have also died buried under the rubble of the destroyed buildings. Even after the ceasefire declaration, Israel has martyred 127 Palestinians.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Munir Akram, demanded Israel’s withdrawal from Syria and Lebanon, respect for the sovereignty of Lebanon and Syria, and the end of Israeli occupation of Palestine.
According to the Federal Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Munir Akram, Pakistan’s delegate to the UN, briefed the Security Council on the situation in the Middle East. He condemned Israel’s occupation of the Golan Heights and demanded the establishment of a comprehensive government structure in Syria.
After beginning its 2-year term as a non-permanent member of the Security Council this month, Pakistan has pledged to uphold the UN Charter and promote the just resolution of international disputes. The Pakistani ambassador demanded in the Security Council that the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria should be restored.
Munir Akram hoped that the recent cease-fire agreement between Israel and Hamas in Gaza would pave the way for a comprehensive solution that would include the establishment of a sovereign and independent Palestinian state.

The Houthis in Yemen have claimed to have launched a missile attack on Israel. Lebanese President Joseph Aoun has said that Israel must withdraw from southern Lebanon by the January 26 deadline. After Israeli National Security Minister Itmar Ben Gower, member of the Israeli Knesset (Parliament) Zvi Sukkot has declared the cease-fire agreement in Gaza a victory for Hamas.
