President Donald Trump says Israel will hand over the Gaza Strip to the United States after the war.
Trump explained that there would be no need to withdraw US troops on Gaza’s soil because after the fighting, Israel will succeed in evacuating the Palestinians.
The Israeli Defense Minister has welcomed Trump’s plan, while the proposal has made some Republican members worried.
Israel has ordered its army to be prepared to allow Gaza’s residents to voluntarily withdraw the Gaza residents.
Trump, who had previously refused to reject the deployment of US troops in Gaza, explained his plans in comments on his Truth social web platform.
