Thousands of Israeli citizens in Tel Aviv staged demonstrations to end the ongoing war on Gaza and release the hostages, which criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government.
According to a foreign news agency, protesters gathered at “Hostelges Square” and other important places in Tel Aviv on Saturday, demanding the government immediate ceasefire and the release of Israeli hostages in Gaza.
Participants in the demonstration organized by the “Hostelges and Missing Familys Forum” shouted anti -government slogans, demanding the government release the hostages of Hamas by the government and called for a ceasefire in Gaza.
Addressing a demonstration in Tel Aviv, Israeli citizen Shai Mozis, whose parents were taken hostage by Hamas were taken hostage and later released, said that our real enemy is not Hamas but Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is destroying Israel as a devastating and democratic state.
According to Al Jazeera, the hostages’ families say that Netanyahu is extending the war for personal and political interests and is not willing to do any ceasefire agreement.
Demonstrations were also held in other Israeli cities, Haifa and Beer Shiba, where the people demanded immediate ceasefire and the release of hostages.
