Jailed banker ‘shocked’ and ‘dissatisfied’ at enchantment choice

In 2015, Tom Hayes was sentenced to 14 years in jail by Mr Justice Jeremy Cooke at Southwark Crown Court, diminished on enchantment to 11-and-a-half, after a jury discovered him responsible of conspiracy to defraud for searching for to “rig” Libor, the benchmark rate of interest.
