Jesse Jackson Sr. And Jacqueline Jackson Test Positive For COVID-19

CHICAGO (AP) — The Rev. Jesse Jackson, 79, and his spouse, Jacqueline, 77, have been hospitalized after testing optimistic for COVID-19, in response to a press release Saturday.

He is vaccinated towards the virus and publicly acquired his first dose in January. The two are being handled at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

“Doctors are currently monitoring the condition of both,” in response to the assertion licensed by their son, Jonathan Jackson.

“There are no further updates at this time,” the assertion stated. “We will provide updates as they become available.”
