Three Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terrorists, together with one who was behind the killing of BJP employee Rakesh Pandita in June, have been gunned down in an encounter with safety forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday, officers stated.
Security personnel had launched a cordon-and-search operation within the higher reaches of the forest space of Nagbaeran Tral within the south Kashmir district following inputs in regards to the presence of ultras there, they stated.
