Shariah Faisal Police arrested 2 robbers along with the injured in an alleged encounter near Rashid Minhas Road.
According to the police, the arrested and injured dacoit has been identified as Tayyab while the accomplice has been identified as Farhan and 2 pistols, bullets, 3 mobile phones, laptop, 2 check books and cash have been recovered from their possession.
The arrested dacoit escaped from the area of Tipu Sultan by force of arms while one of his accomplice escaped from the spot while a motorcycle without number stolen from Timuriya police station was also recovered from the possession of the robbers.
The police shifted the injured dacoit to Jinnah Hospital for medical assistance while his criminal record is also being checked.
